Ombre which means having colors or tones that shade into each other - used especially of fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark.
Now, ombre is already use in hair color, lip color and even on nail colors (for the sake of art and fashion).
Making your own dip dye or ombre shirt is very easy and budget friendly. So, if you want to know how did I made it..simply click...
- Old white shirt (I used an old school white uniform and my old navy white short.)
- Fabric Dye (pick your favorite color)
- Basin
- Hot Water
- Salt
- Stirrer
Procedure:
- Prepare all the materials needed.
- Put salt and dye on the basin
- Pour hot water (be careful!)
- Stir until the salt and dye dissolve.
- Soak half of the shirt/short for 15 to 30 minutes until you've achieved the desired color.
6. Hang the shirt/short and let it dry.
* Repeat the procedure from step 1 to 6 for the other half of the shirt/short.
And your good to GO! Glamorous isn't it?
