Jollychic, it is one of the gazillion online shopping companies that offer popular garment brands on a reasonable price. It became popular here in Saudi from locals to expatriates. The Jollychic mania started when I asked one of our patient where did she bought her eyeglass because it was cute and girly. She told me it was from Jollychic. We've tried on that same day to search for it. I recommend ed the nurses to read first customer reviews if it is legite and reliable. So it was. At first we started to order small amount and gathered all the orders of my colleagues and we need to reach the amount of 375 riyals for us to avail the free shipping fee. So we did. We wait for atleast one week for us to receive our items. When the ordered items arrived we are all excited to open it, or least to inspect if its worth the penny.
The Pros:
- When you choose to buy an item at Jollychic.com, to do so it was very convenient. You have to download the app to your mobile at appstore (IOS) or googlestore (Android). You need also to make an account using your mobile number and e-mail address for verification.
- Each product comes with measurement guide, details of the item, sizes, colors, possible customer ratings and feedback about that certain item that you want.
- You can see multiple images for you to examine the dimensions of the product. There are wide variety of synanymous item that you're looking for.
- The products are unique and cute. Some products are not seen on malls and in other online stores.
- There is a 7 days gurantee, you can return, exchange or refund the item . There's secure check out system and order tracking.
- The customer service was good. Most of them knows how to speak in english. They will immediately confirm and verify you if the items will be deliver soon.
- The items were good. Some are worth the price, amounting from 7 riyals - the product was totally fine and some products doesn't commensurate with the price.
- There are flash sale items with timer, when it will finish and when it will start. The app will give you an option if you want to be reminded about the upcoming sale on your mobile.
- Paying the item wasn't hassle because you can choose the COD ( Cash on Delivery) which is very safe for buyers.
- The shipment will take longer than you expect it. The Jollychic.com will give you the expected date of delivery but will not arrive. They prolong your agony!
- Other thoughts ( from my collegues and as my experience ) some items are low quality. The price of the item isn't worth.
- The shipment company was always calling and asking for the address every now and then. The customer database was poor.
- There are hidden fees! As you order, you need to reach a certain amount to avail the bonus and free shipping fee.
- Most of the call center agent attending our concerns were arabs, some knew how to speak in english but most never understood our complaints. There will always be miscommunication.
- You will get addicted in ordering items. Since the app will notify you about the upcoming sales, you tend to check the Jollychic app and you will be amazed by the low prices of the products. And as a result, you will tend to buy. Failed Budget!
- Most items, were seriously made in China.
Online shopping is rampant worldwide. Though it was beneficial for both the consumers and the company, there are cons as well. First thing, you can't gurantee the quality of the product. When I ordered rubber shoes from Jollychic.com, I expect it to be so gorgeous because of its image posted in the website but when the item arrived, I was dismayed. The bags I picked was tiny and the leather was haux.
You have to endure the waiting process, online shopping needs patience. The item might took 1 or 2 weeks before it will be handed to you. You can't physically fit the item. I had experience ordering shoes from the same shopping site, my shoe size is 37 and when my piece arrived, 37 was too big for me. I am happy with the design and color but it failed on the size. Online shopping might waste your time in returning back the item whenever it doesn't fit to you or the piece is damage. Nevertheless, I managed to exchange it to my colleagues since she will order the same product and asked her to change the shoe size.
